Testimonials
Innovation Partners contracted Kathryn, as a research professional, to complete an independent evaluation of the Life Code Matrix method. The goal was to ascertain its effectiveness within a diverse population. Kathryn worked well within the remit, time-frame and budget allocated. She designed and conducted an evaluation process for the project that enabled both quantitative and qualitative analyses. The output was a rigorous and well written research report that highlighted several encouraging trends, which positively impacted further development of the method and ongoing marketing strategies. An unexpected bonus of working with Kathryn was her publication of two papers in peer reviewed academic papers, each highlighting a different positive outcome from the research. This has added credibility to the work that we do. I would highly recommend Kathryn’s services as a researcher/evaluator and report writer. Cilla Sturt, Innovation Partners Ltd & Sensory Training.
I had the privilege of working closely with Dr Kathryn Owler from 2013 to 2017 at Auckland University of Technology (AUT). During this time, Kathryn consistently demonstrated exceptional research and writing skills. She completed and published a memoir, Fun at Work: A Journey of Acceptance, Joy, and True Meaning (Owler, 2015), which reflects her deep interest in workplace wellness. This publication built on a theme established in earlier research projects, Does Fun Work? (Owler, Morrison, & Plester, 2010) and I Always Have Fun at Work (Owler & Morrison, 2020). These articles focused on workplace wellbeing and job crafting, showcasing her ability to apply qualitative research methods such as interviewing and textual analysis. Kathryn’s research is regularly published in high-ranking academic journals, including the most recent article, Crafting Work Happiness (Owler, 2023), which blends client agency with critical social awareness. Dr Owler is a skilled critical thinker and an accomplished academic writer. Quentin Allan, Senior Lecturer, and Academic Writing Advisor, AUT University of Technology.
