Foster a positive team with an ‘Emotional Culture Workshop’

Overview
Whilst the IQ (intelligence quotient) of your team is important, these days their emotional intelligence (EQ) is considered just as critical to team performance and employee wellbeing.
One powerful tool that’s helping to foster team EQ is The Emotional Culture Deck – designed, here in New Zealand, by Riders&Elephants. The Emotional Culture Deck (ECD) is a simple yet effective card-based tool that invites team members to explore how they want to feel (and not feel) at work.
Now used by over 500,000 people in 65+ countries, the ECD tool helps fosters a culture where people feel, seen and heard.
ECD workshops, led by a certified practitioner, can introduce teams to the tool in an interactive, hands-on way.
How will it help?
Emotional culture influences employee satisfaction, motivation, connection, engagement, burnout, teamwork and even “hard” measures such as performance and absenteeism. The Map your Emotional Culture workshop can play a crucial role in fostering a positive and productive work environment.
The workshop will help your people become more connected, more engaged, have more open communication and less team conflict. These are not the only benefits that you and your team will be able to enjoy.
It can also:
- enhance your employees’ emotional intelligence
- reduce stress for you and your team
- boost the morale of the team
- cultivate a supportive environment
- enhance leadership and management skills
- stimulate innovation and creativity in your team
- help with change management processes
- sustain a positive team image
What’s in the workshop package?
Two sessions in less than a day offered by a sensitive Emotional Culture Deck practitioner:
- Workshop – half a day (3-4 hours) with you and your Team
- After one month – a follow-up (1-2 hour) session tracking team culture, which can include a creative token building activity
